okokokok! everybody settle down! there's not much time and i've got alot to cover!
sheesh. gotta get back to this stoooooooooooooopeeeeeeeeeed xmas thing. taking the
baby to see the lights a little later. whoop...ee. wouldn't be so bad but i'm
forbidden to have a little drink before we go. something to do with my having a little drink
before taking the 15 year old driving the other day. HEY!! HE was driving! not ME!!!

it was AWESOME!! i even managed to drag the whole clan out to see them with me. we
had hot chocolate and roasted a virgin. a grand time was had by all!

look, the only way you can make tv poker REMOTELY entertaining would be to give the

yep. it's that time of year. i wish all of you the very best.
i know what this time of year means for most of you.
you press your cute little noses against the window, getting all giddily bitch-a-fied
watching things get all brown, cold and lifeless outside as you prepare to sit down for
a feast of your favorite dead beast nearly jumping out of your skin at the slightest
sound running toward the door in hopes that its the UPS dude delivering your limited
edition thomas kinkade autographed christmas ornaments that you ordered off
eBay from the congregation of the greater holy temple church of thomas kinkade of the
apostolic faith.
yep. it's that time of year.
been a year of big changes for me. but,...sometimes you go where the flow takes ya.
you know?
doesn't mean that you stop swimming against the current however.
keeps ya strong.

Bonus Journal (you KNOW you wanted more!): Nobody's Parable
so the other day i saw nobody for the first time in years.
reminded me of a parable he once told. went something like this:
there was once this little baby bird that felt it was time to spread his wings
and try to fly. so he jumps out the nest only to fall straight to the ground.
he began walking until finally it started to get dark. and cold. so he began
chirping and chirping growing more afraid and cold as the sun went down. then
along came a cow that heard the little bird's chirping and it felt pity on the
little bird. so it walked over to the scared, cold little fella and lifted it's tail
and dropped a big old cow patty on the little bird. now the bird was nice and
warm in the cow patty but before long it got restless and began chirping and
chirping again. making a terrible racket. finally along came a coyote. he
eased over to the little bird sitting there in the cow patty, picked him up
and dusted him off. then swallowed him whole.
the moral to the story is this,...
not everyone that throws dirt on ya is out to hurt ya.
not everyone that pulls you out of the dirt is out to help ya.
either way,..
When you're up to your nose in shit, keep your mouth shut.
