she is going to kill me by dholms she is going to kill me by dholms
and yes,...she probably will kill me.

what you're looking at here is a major reason for
my not having submitting anything recently,...
it's a part of something i've been 'attempting' to
complete,...but, i just can't seem to get it right.
this particular sketch is a likeness of a fellow
deviant,...i'm hesitant to say who it is,...i'm not
sure she would want me to although she gave me
permission to use it,...
the thing is, my first attempt just didn't seem good
enough, so i started over,...heck,...i may never
get it right.

should have put the link to susurro here long ago.
i wasn't thinking. sorry.

you really are being too kind now.
this is nothing but a number one pencil on some crap paper if i recall. heh.
the subject was/is a sweet friend of mine. this one was special to me as well.
thanks again.

you very welcome.  you have a great talent belive me it sometimes the pieces will but the least effort in turn out to be sometimes masterpieces.  I know I had people comment on a few of my pieces and they were just random drawings I did out of bordom. ;]

I can't believe I never noticed this piece before, while wandering through your gallery...

This is so incredibly beautiful. And honestly, I think that the shading/rendering is perfect. It's almost unsettling, in a way- which is what I take it you were going for?

Either way, it speaks volumes about the person whose likeness this is in...very interesting indeed, and totally mesmorizing. :)

i'm not sure if this is a compliment or an insult to her beauty but she looks like johnny ;) i would say that's a cmpliment, but the fact he is male... maybe not x

I'm confounded as to how you get that softness to your drawings, but retain quite sharp edges to certian tonal areas. I'm guessing you use soft grade pencils and a lot of reworking and layering. It really is a lovely technique, however you do it!

wow - this is very well done - the shading is so precise - lovely

I second/third/etc. all the comments above. I like how soft you've drawn her and I love the shading. :) (Smile) Clap The lips look a bit weird though. It looks like the top lip gets wider and comes down on the right. Perhaps that's how it looked in the photo. Very very good!!!!!

doh'!.....wrong button, I wasn't done.

never seeing the original I have nothing to compare it too and will assume your mark was dead on. to touch another person in a way as to transfer your feelings/interpretations thru your skill and relive it on paper is an amazing thing. I love to see artists pour their emotions out on to their canvas's or what have they. What a intense pair of eyes. Could be hunting, wishing, hoping, craving, longing.........could go on and on. Nice to let the viewer decide. Excellent work my friend. Tis a lucky person who has you to render their very essense to canvas.

Now see what you done......your comments above me actually made me stop and feel warm inside. You bastage!!! Now I must release it.

reading the last three comments made me smile ;) (Wink)
I love the drawing, I haven't seen the orignal pic nor do I know the person you've drawn.
But on it's on the picture is quite pleasing to the eye & the shading adds a lot of ambience.
I like your prescise crosshatching and the depth you've built up here.
Even if it doesn't come out the way you want it, it's the process of realizing it that tends to be the best part of every drawing.
