experienced some dark moments in recent weeks.
subsequently it began affecting me creatively.
something that hasn't happened in a very long time.
couldn't start anything. couldn't finish anything.
became detached.
so i went surfing with an alien.
and it began happening again.
i'm better now.
how are you?
-----
i want to thank many of you that have inspired me to evolve.
you know who you are because i've told you so.
for those i haven't yet, eventually i will.
It's beautiful, D. And a MUST for full viewing! I think I could stare at it for hours, still finding tiny little details to amaze me. I can't even begin to imagine how you did this. I'd love to see the real thing up close. It must be even more amazing in person. It looks like some fantastic galaxy.....exploding...full of passion. It's just incredible! I'm in awe once again of your amazing talent and creativity!
Your description hits home with me... I felt like that for a month... wasn't too long ago, really. Anyway, sorry to hear you felt like that, and I'm glad you're feeling better.
Great work here. What mediums did you use? Just curious.
Very cool, man. For some reason I get the feeling that I'm staring into the wound on the side of a dying animal, and the frays are the animal's fur. Hrmm, on second thought, maybe I should have my head examined.
Those were my first impressions, which I always tend to like to write down.
Going back for a second view, where I look at it a little closer, I get the feeling of staring into the eye of an ancient wolf that has seen his share of fighting, and is grizzled. Sort of like the wolf from The Neverending Story.
Yes now I definitely thing I should have my head examined.
Lots to look at and ponder in this image, though. +fav for the mandrake-dementia value.
WOW
first thought that came to my mind was.... since when does D take abstract macro shots ?!
I wish I could create such amazing textures and colors with a photo.
Looks like some funky microscopic view of a metamorphic reaction.... or something. I dunno but it's damn cool. I find abstract stuff to be confusing most times, but not this. I enjoy the focus of the center and how it holds my eye, looking back at me. Awesome.
Surfing with the alien eh? a little Joey Satriani in the player? Man that's good workin' music. : )
Wow... this is really amazing. -laughs- Everytime I take a look at your gallery, I'm taken aback by just how much talent you have. Love the colors in this... very expressive.
