another attempt at watercolors.
a lesson from one of the best books on watercolor techniques i’ve found so far, texture techniques for winning watercolors, by ray hendershot. what you guys up to btw? Comments
It's amazing what you can do with watercolours. Such a difficult medium(well to me it is)! You've got some great details in there, that must have taken a lot of control and a teeny tiny brush! Also great how you got the drop-shadows to look. Dark, but not too dark that you can't see the texture underneath it. Very nice!
-- "Don't dip your oar in this sordid sea, Dick. You might be besmirched." -Bruce This is fantastic!! I'd say you got your textures DOWN. You using a toothbrush for splatter effect? Salt is great, too, for texturizing, as you probably know. Uh... I'm only up to work. Other than that, nothing

And great job with this one, it´s always nice to see what you manage to paint. Loving all the older stuff, and this too. Keep up the good work. -- Tired and lonely.
